Camp Hill Borough is recognized as one of the top ten places to start a business in Pennsylvania. In 2016, the Borough commissioned a ULI Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) for a roadmap to revitalize businesses and plan a walkable community. Following the TAP advice point-for-point, downtown Camp Hill is experiencing remarkable growth in retail and professional service businesses. One major catalyst for this new growth is Neighbors & Smith, a 40,000 SF mixed-use retail and office project that is redeveloping an entire block in the downtown business district. At the event, Richard E. Jordan III, president and CEO of Smith Land & Improvement Corporation, led a panel of stakeholders in discussing opportunities to attract women-owned businesses as tenants and their ability to connect a community beyond buying and selling.
